Great bike rental experience—was in and out and on my way in 5 minutes. The team was very helpful in showing me on a map the safest route to the bike path. Returning the bike was seamless as well. Would highly recommend!
Went in to buy some gear. There were 4 or 5 employees there at the time, and I was the only one in the store. I spent 15 minutes or so walking around. Not one employee acknowledged my existence. I got what I neded and walked up to the counter to check out, and the employee just looked at me, didn't say hi or anything. After the sale, the employee gave me my bag and said nothing. It was very awkward. The staff seem to resent their customers for some reason. It was a very odd experience. Perhaps this store would be better served to hire more personable staff.
Great staff, great gear. Purchased my first snowboard and all the accessories here. Had a malfunctioning binding and they replaced it for me and took care of getting the warranty replacement so I didn’t have to. Highly recommend!
Walked in to get boots… had no idea what a technical process this would be. Don sized us up and was able to find the perfect boots on the first try. It was a significant purchase, but after two hours you’ll walk out with boots that will change your skiing experience. Thank you for the exceptional service and sharing your expertise!
I don’t understand what it is, but every time I have gone into Hoback sports I am treated awfully. The self-proclaimed “manager” the last time I was there was incredibly cold and unwilling to do his job; while entering the store 40 minutes before closing time he refused to do a menial task that would take 40 minutes total. It seems the employees don’t want the customers money. I enjoy Hoback sports and it’s offerings and it would be sad to the store fail because if laziness and disrespectful costumer service. It starts with figuring out that “manager.”
Got a full service in a brand new snowboard and the treated it like trash. Left over wax everywhere, scratched my brand new bindings and left clumps of wax on bottom side. Looks like he took five minutes to do it and then threw it into the pile of others.
Had a great experience renting a couple road bikes for a day trip up to Jenny Lake. Kennan in the bike department spent a lot of time with us making sure our saddles were properly adjusted and we could clip in etc. very high quality bikes and service!
This is our second time renting bicycles from Hoback. Each time has been exceptional. The service was amazing and helpful. The bikes were top notch and well maintained. If you are visiting Jackson Hole WY, stop by and pay a visit to Hoback!
